We are on a mission to make INDIA Leprosy free !

Our Vision ‘ Protect and promote the right to health of people afflicted by leprosy to live a life with dignity and respect.’

In 1978 ALERT-INDIA was established primarily to improve the health status and social inclusion of people afflicted by leprosy living in urban and rural areas with a commitment to promote the right to health and inclusive living.

Today ALERT-INDIA advocates and promotes joint practical programmes with different stakeholders to support national efforts that address the challenges in leprosy control and minimizes the socio-economic consequences on persons and communities affected by leprosy in Maharashtra.

“Every day, I begin new innings towards leprosy work with love, courage and endurance.  It is the mission of my life.  “

 Antony A Samy, Founder ALERT-INDIA
