The Job
In close coordination and consultation with the State TB Department, ALERT INDIA is committed to initiate the implementation of the LTBI project from Kutch district. In that reference, ALERT INDIA is planning to hire individuals in various capacities to implement, monitor, supervise and manage project implementation in the district and therefore
Applications are invited for the following post;
MIS Assistants/ Data Entry Operator,
LTBI Project, SR
Role
- Timely completion of required MIS reporting as per Global Fund & PR requirements.
- Collect, compile and manage data related to LTBI contacts demographic details, diagnostic tests and treatment details using programme MIS
- Conduct data quality checks, data audits
- Submit reports and participate in district/state level reviews periodically as per project requirement
- Undertake periodic training of project staff on the MIS system, data reporting and M&E processes
- Support Supervisor and District Lead in conducting project reviews
- Undertake field visits to ensure compliance to data reporting processes and ensure quality
- Maintain patient and project data confidentiality
- Collect and maintain the documentation of drugs disbursed in program MIS
- Any other task/s assigned by District Lead, State Lead and other seniors
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Graduation in any discipline with some experience of in data management
- Knowledge of Computer is extremely essential, particularly good hold over MS Office, SPSS, EPI Info and web-based applications are expected
- Candidate should possess strong communication skills. Particularly good command over written English as well as local language is expected.
- Data Entry and project management skills are critical skills for the post
- Candidate should be well versed with data collection methodologies used under the programme and should also be able to undertake validation of some of the data
- Ability to work in a diverse culture. Tolerance to working with people from other faiths
- Candidate should possess the skills to train others in data collection, compilation and data interpretation in order to provide necessary capacity building to the field team
Salary: CTC up to Rs. 21,000/- per month, commensurate with skills/experience and last drawn salary.

Terms of Employment: Regular and full time
Location: Ahmedabad, Anand & Mehsana districts, State Gujarat
Duration: 1 year (Renewable, based on performance assessment)

Account Assistant:
- Tracking of project expenditures, vendor bills, staff claims, etc., and ensuring timely receipt.
- Ensure the first level of review of vendor bills, staff claims, etc.
- Ensure strong internal controls for the project’s financial management as per Global Funds norms and the organization’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure optimum utilisation of project resources by updating the finance officer on underspending or overspending as per the approved budget.
- Ensure the preparation of reports and other tasks as assigned by the finance officer.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements as per applicable laws.
- Understand and be able to advise the project team on donor requirements for financial monitoring and reporting.
- Coordinate internal audits, internal reviews, and external reviews as needed.
- Ensure the filing of all A&F records and the proper maintenance of records.
- Assist the finance officer in dealing with project finance-related aspects.
- Work in close coordination with the programme and finance teams.
- Facilitate logistics and administrative support for trainings, meetings, etc.
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of office assets and other records.
- Any other task assigned by supervisor
Expected Educational Qualifications, Desired Skills, and Experience:
- Commerce Graduate with background in accounting 1 year’ experience in NGOs/Development sector
- Candidate is expected to have good working knowledge of MS Office (word, excel, power-point etc.) including use of google forms and sheets.
- Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure and in stringent timelines, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narratives quickly and clearly and use personal initiative.
